The Feldenkrais Method

The Feldenkrais Method – a gentle path to easier movement
The Feldenkrais Method is suitable for anyone who wants to feel better in their body. It helps relieve stiffness, fatigue, back, neck, or shoulder pain, but it also supports people with sedentary jobs, one-sided strain, or those who lack the energy or desire for traditional exercise.
The exercises involve seemingly very simple movements, which may sometimes resemble child's play. They are mainly performed on the floor, at a calm pace and without pressure to perform. The movements are slow, gentle, gradually repeated and connected. There is enough time and space to perceive what is pleasant and fluid and where unnecessary tension arises.
This way of working leads to natural discovery and learning. The body acquires more effective movement patterns, better coordination, and a more natural posture, which are gradually reflected in everyday life.
After the lesson, there is often a feeling of lightness, greater space in the body, and relaxation. Many leave feeling more upright, flexible, and calm.
Our Feldenkrais Method teachers
The Feldenkrais method is taught by two teachers who use gentle and confident guidance to help you move. Each of them brings her own rhythm and feel to the lessons, and they share a deep understanding of the body, a calm presence, and the ability to create a safe space for discovery and learning.
